01 / HaloVault setup

Install from the Chrome Web Store, bring your documents into the lockbox, and keep using the AI you already know. You review the protected context before it is sent.

  1. 01 / Install

    Add it to Chrome.

    Open the HaloVault listing on the Chrome Web Store and choose Add to Chrome. Pin HaloVault from the Extensions menu so your lockbox is one click away.

  2. 02 / Gather

    Fill your lockbox.

    On ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Grok, select the round HaloVault button to open the side panel. Drag in PDFs, scans, spreadsheets, and notes; each file is processed on your device.

  3. 03 / Ask

    Review, then send.

    Choose which files a conversation can draw on and ask as usual. HaloVault masks sensitive details, and you review the protected context before it is sent.

Which browsers does HaloVault support?

HaloVault is built and tested for Google Chrome on desktop and laptop computers. Chrome on phones and tablets doesn’t run extensions, so install HaloVault from a computer.

How does HaloVault stay up to date?

Chrome updates extensions from the Chrome Web Store automatically, so new versions of HaloVault arrive without a reinstall.

What happens to my lockbox if I remove HaloVault?

Your lockbox is stored in your browser, on your device. Removing the extension also removes the documents and context it stored.

Can my team use HaloVault?

HaloVault is designed around local storage, masking, and review before sending. Your organization’s policies still determine which documents and workflows are appropriate. Contact the Mjolnir team for team access and onboarding.

Where do I get help?

Visit product support to report an issue or check a ticket. Your support code is included with your Mjolnir license.
